Scroll down to view the schedule of workshops I am offering this term as a satellite studio for both artEAST Art Center (aE) and Kirkland Arts Center (KAC). The satellite workshops are taught at Striking Art (not at the art centers).

SATELLITE STUDIO ~ SPRING WORKSHOP OFFERINGS:

Intro to Silver Fusing (artEAST)

Tuesday, 10am - 2pm

Jan 22 OR Apr 2

If you've ever been curious about how to fuse silver wire, this is a great intro workshop. Students are welcome to take this workshop as many times as they like! Make a lovely silver link bracelet with custom clasp and glass bead dangle using 14 gauge and 16 gauge fine silver wire.

Recycled Glass Beads (artEAST)

Tuesday, 10am – 2pm

Feb 19 OR Apr 30

Start with an empty glass wine or water bottle and end with a handful of colorful Recycled Glass beads! Students will have fun learning to strip cut glass bottles, then use a bench mounted torch to pull rod and stringer from the strips.

Deep Cast Pattern Slab Bowl (artEAST)

Thursdays, 10am – 3pm

April 18th and 25 (2 Sessions)

Create a heavy piece of glass art that is multi-colored and very unique! Students will design a pattern slab bowl (10 inch diameter x 5/8 thick approximately) using multiple colors & layers of glass.

Open Studios

$15 per hour ~ 2 HR minimum

Advance approval & reservation required.

ENCAUSTICS & COLLAGE: 3rd Thursday of the month: 10am - 8pm

CREATE A CLASS (Classes by Request)

You and a friend select the date & time; I advertise the class to try to fill it. You both pay web price and it runs whether it fills or not.

SENIOR PROJECT MENTOR

Glass or Encaustics makes a great Senior Project!

I reserve space for 2 students per school year. NOTE: Parent or Guardian must do on-site studio tour and sign Studio Waiver.

PRIVATE LESSONS & CONSULTS

$30 / hr + Materials & Kiln Charges as applicable

If you want individualized instruction / help with an art process,

but don't want to take a class, I am available for private lessons

for any of the glass or encaustics processes listed on my website.
